I recorded a podcast recently, more specifically a friend recorded it on a Skype call. There were three of us on Skype and he used a call recorded to record all three of us. He sent me the file and when I play it in iTunes it plays perfectly, however when I import it to Garageband a voice is missing. Also when I click play in Garageband I get a digital "pop" before the audio plays. What am I doing wrong?

P.S. The file looks really weird in Garageband too.

The 'pop" is from the huge DC off set. My bet is the file is int the "wrong" byte order or something like that. Look at the file you are trying to load, it is not inthe format GB thinks it is in. Can you convert this outside of GB to something like MP3?
