Voice to text app..like Notes

Hi guys

Im about to buy an Apple Watch 3 Cellular and was wondering can I record voice to text like I do on my iPhone?
This is one of my favourite things to do whilst walking and if I can do it with the watch it would be great.

Hm. Not with any built-in apps; though there's a voice memos app.
There may be an app on the App Store that allows it; If not, well, I might make one. Been wanting an AppleWatch project to try out and work with

You can use Siri for that: Hey Siri, remind me to ...., it will automatically create a reminder with the spoken text

That works for a Reminder or a shorter notice, sure. But if you're using it like a dictaphone for a 10 minute note... Not so well; Though then again that's a long time to keep your wrist up

Just Press Record is great, and not a software rental like Drafts turned into. I don't know about Apple Watch, but on iOS/Mac, recordings from JPR show up in iCloud Drive and have full transcriptions. I'd assume the Apple Watch version works the same way.

I wanted to mention Drafts, but it has been said already. With the built-in apps you can only add text to reminders or messages, the limit seems to be around 40 seconds on each.
