Does anyone know if there are any integrations to the Messages app so you can voice to text?
A friendly bump.
Vlingo - http://www.vlingo.com/
There is also a Dragon app in the AppStore but from what I have heard it does not work very well in terms of integration.
seems people are not happy with the recording of what they speak
I use Dragon Dictation, I did not allow it to process my contacts (save them to a remote server) and this app does a good job for being free.
i have the same question. i'm not looking for a separate app, rather a speech integration tool like the droid has with google speech to text... there's a mic integrated into the keyboard so you can speech to text just about anything, sms, search etc.
I would also this!
For now I have dragon dictation, which is amazing for being free, but definitely blows when it comes to voice to text while driving.
It basically is good for when you are sitting there but are too lazy to type something up.
Bump for more news / info. Anyone know if any of the google voice stuff will integrate voice-to-text SMS?
I'd like to know this as well. Vlingo now charges for their voice to texting.
Dragon Dictation is free and no cost to use.
Works perfectly for me for SMS or Email.
You do have to open the app and push a couple of buttons to use it.
Would love an Android style talk to text feature when sending sms.
WOWOW this app is freaking amazing! I just installed it and am blown away. It's about 95% accurate.
Just wish that since they have my contacts on their servers it would enable us to voice command which contact the text message or email is sent too.
Then it would be totally handsfree.
