Voicemail transcripts missing

SO, since iOS26 installed itself on my iPhone 13, UK carrier Vodafone. I now no longer get a transcript of the voicemail. I also suspect that the caller somehow does not get the chance to even leave a voicemail.

My last successful transcript was delivered on 9 Sept 2025.

Is there any obvious reason I am missing these? I've looked through the forums and nothing seems to flag this particular problem.

Verify messages are being left... call into your VM (typically call your own number, or sometimes press/hold "1" on your phone will do it)

If there are no messages, there will of course be no transcripts.

Yes thanks I have tried that and there are no messages but I'm wondering what experience the caller gets?

You’ll want to call it from a different number to see.

No voicemails = no transcripts, so the lack of transcript is “expected behavior.” Now you need to figure out why voicemail isn’t taking messages (which isn’t a phone thing; it’s a carrier thing.)
