Seems like this is a trap, but I agree.

I tried skype, and it gives low quality of voice. do you think it is also because i have slow internet? i found 3cx also just recently, and it worked well compare to skype.

Viber worked fine when I tried it. I never use all my AT&T minutes, though, so I never really thought about it much and just stopped using it.

But if you need on, that's what I'd suggest.

The likes of Talkatone are lousy. I have the GV Connect app and my GV # on my aList and this results in unlimited calling. The quality is hands down better than VoIP.

Not free but if you use a voip service; AcroBits works like a charm.

I had an iPhone 4 and sold that and bought an iPod touch 4g. I use talkatone and I have had a great experience. Except for the change of the phone number (my google voice number) no one knows the difference. I use Clear's Apollo router which is the Internet in your hand. So I always have wifi so I always have a phone connection. I have true unlimited data and sound quality is great.

I use "Line 2" ($10 bucks a month unlimited calling on wifi and 3g and unlimited texts). Works great. I hated carrying around 2 cell phones (work and persoanl). So this does the job of not making me share my persoanal number for work related things.

    Is there a montly cost?
