Since built to order Macs are made in China (route to Alaska), I heard online orders will now be delayed to August due to some volcanic activity. This of course, will only affect those ordering online but can anyone confirm?

I'm curious as well. I placed an order last week for a 17" BTO with 2-3 day shipping. It says on my order status: PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT, and estimated delivery's been Jun. 23-26th. Will report if this changes, but hopefully I'll get it this week!

First of all, relax. There is no need to bump your thread after 20 minutes.

There have been no reports on here of any such thing.

you're not allowed to bump threads. It's against forum rules.

I have yet to hear of any such reports.

    My bad.

If there was already a thread, you should not have started a new one.

I'm sure all parties involved will look for alternate shipping arrangements as soon as they can.

Haven't heard of this but I suggest calling Apple directly. These two people above won't be much help to you.
