Voltage of an AirPort Express?

I assume that somewhere in the AirPort Express, the voltage drops considerably. I am hoping it drops to 12v, because I am rigging a boat and the customer wants to be able to controll his stereo with his phone. I have all of the other aspects worked out, but I just need power, and I don't want to use an inverter. So does the voltage drop somewhere in the AirPort?

do you happen to know where it drops to 12v? and how dificult it is to change it?
