VOLTE call to WIFI iPhone

Does any technology head know here if
Person A on WIFI makes a call to
Person B on a LTE/4G network makes a call to person B

will they both have the upgraded audio quality (so that's person A having their phone call as VOLTE/data)

Hope this makes sense!
