volume button not working since latest beta

my volume down button on my iphone 5 has become buggy since the last ios 7 beta release. most of the time it just does not work at all. could this be a software issue or do the hardware buttons on the phone have nothing to do with the os?

I would assume it's a hardware issue.. Have you tried downgrading and testing it?

This has been a hardware problem since the iPhone 5 was released. My decrease volume button hasn't worked in months, well before the iOS 7 betas. Apple knows about this had will usually replace the phone under warranty.
