When I move my hand up the side of the iPad, the volume button always seems to dig in slightly to my skin if that makes sense?

It almost seems like the button has a sharper edge than my previous iPad.

Yep, they have sharper edges than the iPad2... I like the new design, easier to feel and adjust for me.

Something like this would not have gotten past Ive & Co. I'm sure it was deliberate.

Has anyone else noticed that the inside of the 30-pin dock connector has the same aluminum finish as the rest of the body? On the previous models, they were black.

Yes, they are sharp. But I just checked my iPad 2 and those are just as sharp. However I can see how it would dig into your hands if you hold it with the buttons at the bottom.

Solution - you're holding it wrong. Flip it over and it won't bother you.

I'm serious, this will probably be all over the news by the end of the day.

From this single thread, Consumer Reports is going to deduct that if you buy an iPad, you risk cutting your fingers open on the volume buttons. They will call it a design flaw and will not recommend the new iPad.
