Hi all, I'm looking for an app for Mac OS or iOS that will calculate the volume of a polyhedron with irregular sides. Basically the solid would look similar to a prism with 6 sides but the edges are not parallel. So each edge would have a different length. I'm not terribly great at math so a simple utility where I would input the length of each of the 12 edges and then output the volume would be great. I do a lot of these. Thanks

I'm afraid you're looking for a full-blown math app like Mathematica (expensive as hell) or Sage (free, open-source). Never heard of a simple irregular-sides-polyhedron-volume-calcul-o-mator-app :D

That's what I was afraid of! But thank you for the suggestions. I will take a look at Sage.
