Volume Cap

The latest update from Apple has capped my volume. They released an update earlier that "uncapped" the volume and I loved it. Is there any way to get that back??? 😕

Well, when Apple released 10.4.9, the volume on my iMac was way louder at say 3 than before the update. I loved it. I was able to turn the volume up higher over all and with this most recent update, it's back to the way it was before. 🙁 I just want to be able to turn it up as loud as I could before this last update. Any ideas?
