Has anyone tried the Apple in-ear earphones on the 3.0 software and does the volume control work?

I tried, volume controls still don't work. It must be a hardware issue.

it cant be completely a hardware issue. if they wanted to they could get it working im sure. itd just be different code than what they have written for the other devices. It should be possible. Disappointingly I think they'll just hold off on it and instead give the next iPhone that capability.

wow you must fall for conspiracy theories a lot

    a) look at the amount of prongs on the new headphones and the iphone headphones they have the same number . one uses that for volume, the other uses it for the microphone
