Volume control on TV?

I just got a pair of APP, I am liking them so far (although have ordered some Symbio tips to do the mod so my right hand side one will stay in)
However I cannot work out how to control the volume when they are connected to my TV. If I pair my Bose QC35iis to my LG TV then the TV remote will change the volume...not so with the APPs...it really is quite an annoyance. What am I missing?

With the Apple TV, volume is controlled with the iPhone. Not sure about your TV but maybe give it a shot? Is your LG TV AirPlay enabled?

I‘m having the same issue with my Samsung TV. Please let me know if you find a solution.
