Volume Icon Disappeared?

Hi,

I turned on my Macbook Pro today and the volume control had dissapeared from the top of the desktop.

Anyone got any ideas why?

Have you checked System Preferences > Sound >> Show Volume in Menu Bar yet?

Go to System Preferences, Sound, is the check box for Show volume in menu bar checked?
