Volume keys not working. Please help.

Hey friends,
My volume keys on my MacBook have stopped working. All otherkeys work fine. Tried re-setting the PRAM and nothing. Made sure the voiceovers and such were disabled as well. I'm at a loss and stressing a bit. Advice anyone?

Does pressing the fn key at the same time as a volume key work?
