My teenage kid always has their AirPods on and it’s really annoying having to repeat myself. They listen to music and YouTube videos at maximum volume and myself being coming from the iPod Mini era understand that long term effects of listening to loud sounds isn’t good.

we have family sharing turned on so can use the features such as ScreenTime so am wondering if I can set a volume limit remotely from my parental iPhone.

if not I guess I’m hoping y’all can lead me in the right direction as to how to do it.

Settings, Music, Volume Limit. Then lock it in Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, Volume Limit.

Do I do this from my parental iPhone or on theirs (teen)?

If I try to do it for my self on my own iPhone I can easily just go back and turn it back up to the full listening limit.

Am trying to find the option via family sharing yet am finding nothing.
