Volume reduced with tvOS 11

On both my ATV4s running tvOS 11 and then 11.1, the volume on Netflix and Plex is much lower and required me to crank up the TV volume to levels that make the interface sounds obnoxiously loud.

I've just rolled back one of them to the latest tvOS10 and this solves the issue.

Does anyone have a solution for fixing this on tvOS 11 or should I just stick with tvOS 10? The issue is reproducible on both my ATV4s, but I can't see many others complaining of this issue online.

I had the same issue, and I believe there is a thread up here somewhere about it. A restart of the Apple TV generally fixed the problem. I actually pulled the plug on mine. Once I did, the problem did not reoccur.

I have had audio issues since the launch of the ATV4.

Un-pausing a video sometimes makes the volume go noticeably higher.
