Volume Setting

I have turned up the volume setting on OS X (10.4.7) but when I restart it just reverts back to the original one. Never used to do that on me eMac, only on hte Mac Mini... Any ideas why?

I'm having the same problem... done some checking, but nothing I've tried (zapping PRAM, deleting plist files, etc.) works.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I do have external speakers plugged in. Why does that have anything to do with anything?

Anyone found a fix for this? Still doing it for me, and its well annoying. I do also have external speakers plugged in.
