The helix is classy and understated.

The cow is hard to figure out in the distance (I thought maybe it was an owl or a brown penguin) and seems a bit cheezy.
 
The Helix one looks great. The only thing I would improve is the contrast between the text and background. With some of the colours, it is hard to read at the left. I'd also like to see it much more readable during the time that the background colour changes.

Good ideas, I like the helix too... the Cow/Mad Cow is just one part of the research...


I would also like a link to the forums/FAQ...

Atleast a MacRumors -- Team #3446 somewhere in there...

The decision has been made by Mr. Anderson to go with the Helix. I'm very happy about the desioson.

And even after the first 12 hours of voting the helix looks like the winner....so we'll go ahead and get that fixed up soon and make it official.

Currently Mr. Anderson if coordinating with Tiauguinho to finalize the Helix design.

Mr. Anderson or Tiauguinho, do you know how soon the Helix banner will be finalized and ready for use?

Well, if we have a couple of versions on a final version we'll have another poll.

If you had voted this time around it wouldn't have made any difference, it was a landslide.

Yeah the 40:10 against is really a big landside.

I think the prob with the cow is that it was cute... but how many people are going to know that obsure reference?

If he is annoyied about questions the worst he could do is not respond.


He has no reason to get upset with you...

I also request an update, its been 5 days or so.
 
It's been almost three weeks since the Banner was unveiled. I'm looking forward to the final version. Do you have an update Mr. Anderson?

I'm sorry Mr. Anderson, didn't think that it hurt anything to inquire. They always say that if you don't ask, you won't know. I'm probably not the only one that is very curious. So now I will try to be very patient. :cool:
