I am a student at the University of South Carolina, and in order to connect to the wireless network the tech people say users must download a program called cisco vpn client. I'm using a new SR MBP and I see that there is some sort of vpn option in the internet connect software. DO i need to download this separate software or can I just use the option that came with my mac. If so what sort of information do I need😕

Just install Mac version of Cisco VPN software.

I don't know what the difference between OSX built-in VPN and Cisco, but there might be additional security, verification or administration features.

I would prefer to not add unecessary software if possible. I'm used to windows where more programs never seem to have a good outcome...thanks though.
