I have used Ivacy VPN with raspberry pi with the Debian-Wheezy/Raspbian OS. Work great and their support is super friendly.

I run WireGuard on an OpenBSD server. Works great, especially on iOS.

Mainly, I have pfSense at my office and connect via OpenVPN in Windows or Viscosity on Mac.
On the laptop traveling, NordVPN, but use the OpenVPN app. The Nord app is a PITA to me.
