Hi there,

I'm usually in the mac pro section, but I need some help please, I live in Dubai, with a horrible firewall provide by our ISP, which means I can't get anywhere, I also like to stream from UK and US sites. Luckily I can get a 24 mbps connection but no good if I can't utilise it. I want to by a switch that will allow me to control VPN access from it, I use overplay.net, which gives me over 20 different servers to connect to depending on what I'm doing. This uses PPTP or an application that runs on my mac pro.

I have two questions can I use my mac pro as a switch/gateway as I have two ethernet ports on the mac? If not the mac Pro, I might get a mac mini.

Can you recommend a switch that is manageable via safari that could control multiple VPN accounts, that would also allow certain traffic through without using the VPN.

Finally how can I make the internet the apple tv and the ps3 receive appear as if they are both from the US, so my netflix works!!!! This is why I wanted to switch the vpn on and off from the source into the house.

My internet comes from an ethernet cable, no modem required, I do have a public IP address from the ISP if I need it otherwise it is a generic one from the ISP.

Any help greatly appreciated.
