How do you set up a VPN and remote to a PC from an ipad?

I've set up up before from a PC and VPN connection using RDC under Windiws, but i've never done this from an iPad.

Which app would be good for this?

The iPad has a built in VPN client. What type of VPN server are you connecting to? I use my iPad to connect back to a Cisco based VPN solution and it works perfectly.
