I saw this on YouTube. Way awesome!

Does anyone know how this works? I know about 3D via glasses and having a slightly offset image in each eye for the 3D effect.

I didn't know that you can get the same effect with head tracking. How does this fool the brain?

It uses magic and voodoo and other things that shouldn't be spoken of lightly. :)

All it's doing is adjusting the 3D environment's camera position in relation to your position. So as you pan right, the camera pans right, as you move towards the screen, the camera moves in. So as he mentioned, it's like looking through a picture frame. It's your own movement that's fooling the brain.

Images and movies need an offset image, because their environments are static, where as this one is dynamic.
