My MBP has been having problems for a while (older one, not the new unibody) with freezing and having a weird line through the middle of the screen. I don't have the hardware test cd, but I did have an old TechTool Deluxe CD and it said VRAM failed its test. This does fit with the problems I have been having. So, what do I do from here? How do I fix it? Thanks for the help.

Does it have one of the NVidia GPUs that fail (8600 I think)? If so you may get a free fix from Apple (even without AppleCare).
