Yes, I was one of those whose VZW i5s had a SIM lock problem. Now that it's resolved, I tried by TMo SIM and yes the VZW i5s is unlocked for domestic use.

I can use TMo LTE since Apple was gracious enough to include the bands.

This is great news! i may finally be able to cancel my VZW and go to Tmo. So much cheaper! And unlimited data to boot! (which i have with VZW anyway but still cheaper!)
