iPhone 6(S)/Plus Vzw iPhone - upgrade at Apple store?

I tried contacting Verizon support and they told me to ask at a store, slightly confused, maybe I didn’t convey my message correctly.

I currently have an iPhone 6s+ and I want to upgrade to a new model. I still owe Vzw $160.

Shoild I have go to a Verizon store to upgrade in order to trade in to get this paid off with said trade, or can I go to an Apple store. I have other things to get at the Apple store so it’d be easier but whatever doesn’t mess up the account is more important to me.

If you want to trade in to get credit on your Verizon account for a new upgraded phone via a trade in offer from Verizon, you need to go to a Verizon store.
