As the title says, I'm wondering if a Verizon iPhone X on Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program comes with the VZW SIM, if I will need to reuse my old one, or if I need to go to Verizon or Apple to pickup a new SIM for my phone. I ordered it at midnight (3AM local time, RIP) on pre-order day and its only finally shipping today, and I was curious if it came with the SIM or not, as this is A) My first pre-ordered iPhone, B) my first phone that I've ever not bought in a store, and C) my first phone on the iUP program.

Thanks!

It does come with one, and if you activate it you incur the $30 activation fee. When I got my Verizon iPhone X (as part of IUP) I took the sim out of my 7 plus and put it in the X, and won’t get charged that fee.

Ah ok, thats interesting. So the line access continues as normal on Verizon if I keep using the old SIM, but if I get a new SIM, it sees it as a new activation and charges me?
