Ok, so I've got a G4 PowerBook Aluminum 15" with 10.4 on it, and it's got Airport Extreme in it.

I've also got a Westell VersaLink 327W wireless router.

I also have a MacPro tower with 10.5 on it hooked through Ethernet, G3 tower (10.4) with an Airport Extreme in it, a Dell tower with a wireless card, a Toshiba laptop with a Cisco wireless card, and a HTC phone with wireless capability. They all can connect to my wireless network just fine.

The G4 Powerbook can SEE the network (it comes up on the list under the Wifi icon in the bar at the top), and I can enter in the password and everything, but when I try to connect to the internet or browse through the network, I get nothing.

None of the other computers can see it either.

So, I thought maybe the G4 Powerbook had a faulty wifi card.
Except I swapped the card with a working card. Nada.
Except I brought the laptop over to my father in laws... and it connected flawlessly!!!!

What can I try? What am I missing?

Try going to your router ACP via www.cmyip.com
Copy and paste your own IP in firefox or w/e.

Then reset ALL settings to default for your router.

Should do the trick as it seems the router is at fault here.

    Good luck!

Figured it out. It was my WEP settings. I needed to choose 64 bit as the password method. Works now!
