Wacom Intuos 2 or 3

Finally decided to get a Wacom tablet for photo editing using photoshop elements and possibly photoshop. I've decided on a 6X8 size table. Checked prices at B&H photo and found that they have the Intuos 2 models for $100 less than the Intuos 3.

For my limited use I'm thinking the Intuos 2 should be fine. Looking for comments from people with first hand experience.
