Wacom Intuos Pro cannot uninstall driver. Message is "To uninstall, search for "Wacom Utility." Once in the utility, click "Remove" under the Tablet Software heading". Nothing I do lets me find a Wacom utility to remove. As a result I cannot use the Wacom I purchased because I cannot remove the old driver. Online searches offer solutions that do not appear on Big Sur. Anyone know what I should do?

I would just install the new driver. In general, with the Wacom driver, it's unnecessary to remove the old one before updating.

That is the problem I cannot install the new driver because it quits the install until you remove the old. The full message is: :A previous generation of the Wacom driver is currently installed on this system. To continue with installation, the outdated driver must be uninstalled. To uninstall, search for "Wacom Utility." Once in the utility, click "Remove" under the Tablet Software heading. Once uninstalled, close the Wacom utility and re-start driver installation."

Cannot work out how to uninstall mainly because I cannot find any driver to uninstall.

Are these directions of any use?

Thank you for your comments. Sorry, Wacom's notes are useless already went through all that. It takes you through a process that simply does not appear on Big Sur. There is no Wacom Tablet application to uninstall so no driver either. I have searched for possible old drivers but nothing is obvious. I think the problem is the driver has an illogical name, combined with the Wacom software not having the code it should to identify and remove the driver. Instead the "lazy"(not my word, saw someone online using it to describe Wacom) not bothering to write this routine so that your Mac user is force to get into the operating system and find where it is. It is this "find" that I am unable to do. I simply have no idea what I am looking for and or where it is. If the driver was called Wacom or Bamboo I would have a chance but it has some other name I think.
