I have the big Bamboo Stylus Pen for my iPad for note-taking, and it's a very very good stylus, much better than those £1 ones you can find anywhere. It glides across the screen.

I have found though that the nibs wear out quite quickly, and also it leaves behind a weird patch on the glass that can't be cleaned away (maybe rubbed away the oleophobic coating or something?)

Hope the 'firm' nibs fit the Stylus Pen too...

Then what is it for?

I obviously don't know if they intended it to be used with iPhones, which they may because why would they care about where you plug that stylus in o_O, but have you ever seen anyone use a "stylus" on their iPhone on a daily basis? MAYBE there are eldery people out there who would use this, but to make a product that fills a need which is not there (a stylus for your phone) seems .... unneccessary to say the least, and I bet they did not design it to be used on a phone PRIMARY.

Obviously they promote it for every possible usecase, hence the pictures where it's attached to an iPhone..

I love when people talk out of their ass.

You do? gross man

Ok, price is terrible.

I have bought SEVERAL stylus for the ipad. I've had the original pogo stylus, belkin and targus rubber tipped ones like these. The cheap Meritline and Monoprice knock offs.

None compare to the tips that Wacom puts on theirs. It's a little larger than the pogo, smaller than the other rubber tips. Accuracy is no where near that of a straight wacom stylus with a cintiq or intuos, but it is the best experience for an ipad. That said, the tips all wear out as soon as you start carrying them in your pocket (that goes for all of the stylii I've used). I recently bought the Bamboo Pocket (to replace my first generation bamboo stylus) and I think it far trumps this. It's short with an extending barrel (important if you can't take holding something small like this). It has the same tether from headphone jack design, except that the tether is attached to a cap that protects the tip. The cap is the best feature for me by far.

All of the Bamboo stylus use the same tips, they are replaceable, and they are replaceable at a respectably cheap price ($10/3 tips). The same typically can't be said for most other brand stylus. The tips also come in two different density, firm and soft. Because the tips are what make this and they're all the same, I can recommend this stylus if this is the shape you're comformtable with and the tether feature is something you're looking for.

Really?

Wacom today released a smaller version of its popular Bamboo Stylus, the Bamboo Stylus mini, which offers up a thicker barrel with a much shorter 1.85-inch size.

The portable stylus comes equipped with a handy plastic mini-jack plug that allows it to attach to the headphone port of the iPhone or the iPad, preventing it from being misplaced.

If you want a phone with a stylus get a Galaxy Note II. Then you get proper pressure sensitivity, much better accuracy and also a place to store it!

I do agree, I've played around with one and as an artist I was impressed. The functionality is very tempting to me. So is the Surface Pro, if only Photoshop or any other Windows software had the proper sensitivity driver.

HAHAHA I was just about to post the exact same thing. It looks like a mascara brush!
It looks more like a tampon. ;)

If they want it to attach to the iPhone, they shouldn't have made it out of a material that would scratch the hell out of the iPhone if placed in your pocket.
It's a good idea to put a screen protector on if you're going to use a stylus anyway. Tilt it a little too far and metal could accidentally make contact with the glass. Or you could unwittingly drag something jagged under the rubber nib.
