Wacom tablet under OSX

This is a weird one...under OSX, when I sometimes start the computer, my mouse pointer is stuck when I boot to the desktop. The Wacom tablet light is on (6x11 Intuos3) but can't move the mouse pointer. I disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, and all is well. This is random. Any ideas? Should I call Wacom or Apple?

did it just start or has it been happening? Maybe its a 10.4.10 issue

It's been happening ever since I first got my Mac. On the Windows side it works great. I've had this tablet for over a year and a half.

I updated to 10.4.10 right when I got my Mac, so I have no clue if it's related to that. I have the latest Wacom drivers.

Try plugging it directly into the back of the computer, if it isn't already.
