No, you can't open them in Lion. They require Internet Explorer, which requires Rosetta, which is not supported in Lion. Surely you know someone with a Windows PC you can use to open them.

D DockMac macrumors regular Original poster Jun 7, 2012 #5 FYI: IE on the Windows can't read the mac .WAFF file. Just tried it on a windows machine.
Mr. Retrofire macrumors 603 Jun 8, 2012 #6 I forgot to mention, that the Web Archive Converter creates standard ZIP files, which you can decompress in the Finder of Mac OS X 10.3 or newer.
