Waffles. Most think they are tasty. What do you like on/with them that make them the most tasty? I personally just like the standard butter and syrup combo.

How do you like your waffles?

My friend is doing a project for her college class, and would appreciate any input on your waffle preferences, and a quick vote on her "Waffle Poll". Thanks mucho for your opinions. :D

I've always eaten then with cinnamon sugar, although I have not eaten a waffle in quite a while to be honest.

I also like the standard butter and syrup combo. I like Trader's Joe's A Grade maple syrup. They're delicious!

If I have a little more time, I put together strawberry waffles with whipped cream. :D

Since peanut butter and syrup wasn't an option I had to vote 'other'.

Whenever I make them, they seem to come out rather dry and no good... Bleh.

No butter, just syrup. Add a healthy dose of pumpkin pie spice to the batter.

    Strawberries and whipped cream.
Last year I stayed at a staybridge suite and they had a waffle iron for guests to use. I was in heaven ...

    Pumpkin pie spice sounds good.

I don't like fruit on top of a waffle particularly but I like fruit baked into it. No butter generally. Honey or maple syrup, probably with a preference to honey.

Has anybody mentioned chicken with their waffles? I was a bit skeptical but I enjoyed.

Waffles sound good right now! I just barely got done with a fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich with cinnamon and whip cream on top. Made it for my wife and myself. It had low fat peanut butter, low fat home-made whipping cream, and sugar free preserves (strawberry). We are vegetarians and go to the gym every day so once a week we break loose with something like this. Totally was good. I wanna fry one up with bananas next time, heard Elvis liked em like that or something. :/
