ok so i jailbroke my 2.0.1 3g iphone, and everything went well phonewise, i have cydia+installer.app on my iphone. BUT, in itunes it keeps telling me that it is a new iphone and it needs to be restored to a previous backup. I can't get it to give me another option, i even tried restoring it to normal!!!!! Please help i need my songs!!!

Run the backup once and then the next time set up a new phone. It will then sync everything including music and whatnot. After that it will be all normal again. Had the same problem and now everything is happy.
