Well, does the ATT store have Gift Cards, where I can just buy a card and then get it that way?

Really AT&T stores everywhere are acepting cash for purchase of the iPhone. It was never mentioned that AT&T would not accept it, only that apple would not. I checked 3 different AT&T stores yesterday and they all said yes to cash. Plus they have in store gc's so no worries. Just make sure you are not going to a store in cheapside so you don't get mugged.
