iPad Wait iPad Air 2 is budget

The 9.7 inch iPads always started at $499. Not sure what made you think differently.
Until 2 months previous the Air2 was apple's Flagship model.
Since the pro was releasd some forum posts in here (Predominantly Pro adopters
) now consider the A2 "Old tech" Go figure!
Air 2 is a great, powerful device and still the "Flagship" standard size ipad...And certainly Not "budget"

Imo, Air 2 dont feel old tech. Awesome display. iPhone cant beat that
and also powerful, So i tottaly agree 
How is a $500 tablet a budget one?... especially when you want to buy one for each of your children for Christmas.
If its the "Only" latest standard size ipad out there and it costs that, then its the only option no matter how you slice it..(The pro is ruled out due to size and cost)
Rule of thumb, its not old tech until apple supersede with a newer model, like for like.
To sumerize, until air3 the A2 is still the New, Current standard sized iPad available
no ones pays full price for an iPad Air 2, I hope.

Imo An iPhone 6/6 plus look already outdated next to an Air 2
two different devices but still
