wait or buy EFI 1.7 issue

Hi people, I wanna buy a umbp 13 this week but I start reading post and wow get surprised by the EFI 1.7 problems, and now dont know what to do, because I will get the base line umbp 13 and upgrade myself RAM and HDD, but if any 500gb HDD got this problem and SDD are too much expensive.

Any sugestion?? there's any HDD that dont have the EFI problem?? some people told me that seagate without g-sensor works fine its true??

I dont want to buy a laptop that dont work fine..

If it fails or have problems, you have 14 days to return it. Also, you can just ask the salesman that you can bring it back without restocking fee because of these problems
