my daughter ipad mini has crack little liner hair at bottom, should i buy mini 3 now or wait next model release in this fall

thanks so much all ...............

Tough call. The Air 2 has 2Gb of RAM, which means it can hold several tabs at once with no reloading, and often you can switch apps and they are easily ready to use. The current Mini (3) only had one Gb, so, it will not be as good to use. You can wait and hope the Mini 3S has 2Gb, but if not, you would have waited for naught.

:) that what i thought too , mini 3 only gold color difference / retina display,,,, i think i will keep her stay with that till new mini launch ....

Buying any Mini now is not a great idea. The hardware is basically two generations back and we can assume an update this fall. If you must buy a Mini now, at least buy the 2 rather than the 3, which is a good deal less expensive.

Agreed, I did the same thing with my daughter.
When the updates appear in September/October, the 2 will still be very valid regardless, as they will keep the 3, and it's the same spec other than touchid.

Don't buy the iPad mini 3. I don't know which is worst; the iPhone 5c or the iPad mini 3 when it comes to iOS device updates.
Apple will either give the iPad mini a major update or basically let the tablet die. I'm leaning towards major update with at least 2GB of ram and triple core processor. And to tell you the truth it's not a good time to buy a iPad with only a few months to a refresh. So unless you can get a deal of the year just wait. Within a week of release you will see $50 Target giftcard's with any iPad purchase.

What sort of cases are you using?
i dont using a case for all apple product
just use zagg glass screen protector front
those not cheap 35.99 - 69.99 a piece

but it so clear and shine like real glass
current i have it on my 6-6plus-air 2
it look amazing

If you're going to buy a Mini now, get the Mini 2 unless Touch ID is worth $100.

I would wait for the iPad Mini 4 at this point unless she needs on now.

i plan to get mini 4 with cellular for my daughter ,,,,she can surf web going out and play youtube like most kid does ,,

thanks all .....

This is exactly the kind of info I wanted and makes lots of sense that this will happen. I have a first Generation Mini, got it right after they came out and love it. Looked at the 2, then the 3 and just could not see any difference or at least any that really mattered to me. My first generation Mini still works perfect and does everything I want it to do but husband keeps wanting me to get a new one so he can have my hand me down ;-) He has gone through too many nooks and Samsungs and wants my Ipad mini. Because I do travel for business quite a bit it goes in my purse and a thinner slightly light would be just the thing for me to be ready to buy the new one.

Like many others have said, either get the Mini 2, or wait at this point. You'll either save money, or get a much better iPad.

Get the Mini 3 at Staples this week. They took 100 dollars off. The resale value on it will be good right before the Mini 4 comes out.

If your kids keep dropping their devices, make them use a case. It's common sense.
