Mmm I guess I’m gonna have to wait on people to review this screen in comparisons to what my X has now. I know when the X came out everyone claimed it was the best screen ever yadda yadda. Wondering how this one will be.

326 ppi on a screen longer than an 8 plus = fail. The 8 Plus has a better screen.

XR has a 720p display, while 8 Plus has 1080p. Don’t be fooled by Apple.

PPI is PPI, no matter how large the screen. If the 8 was 326 and you liked it, then you will like the XR with the same 326 pixels per inch.

They technically coined it ‘Liquid Retina’ display. Just a play on words for marketing when in the end it’s still just a 326 ppi LCD display.

The marketing term is ******** called "Liquid Retina" as in Liquid Crystal Display. They really did not go much into why it is "the best smartphone LCD ever made" other than it has rounded corners.

IMO they called it Liquid because it seems that only Apple has found a way to not have a chin at the bottom of the screen and actually have proportional sized bezels, otherwise everyone else is stuck with a big chin, not only using LCD, but OLED too.
