Well this sucks.

My iPhone still won't sync. I talked to AT&T. And now I've been on the phone with Apple for a while.

Keeps getting stuck at the "processing activation" screen right after I put in my zip code.

Ugh...

So i did the whole online activation thing and nothing worked, but then i decided to just restart the iphone and it worked perfectly, seems simple but give it a try :)

Update: I guess I'm just unlucky? I just got off the phone with an "iPhone specialist" and she says they have no idea and some people are having issues. Her advice.. Wait until tomorrow or the next day. Keep trying every 1.5 hours and then if it doesn't work call back. WTF?

this worked for me! Showed no service for over 2 hours since I activated it. Then I did a simple reboot of the phone and it now has service.

Mine took about 4 minutes total....I think the key here is also having ATT DSL internet at home

Took me longer to quit fat-fingering the box open than to activate it. The total time maybe 5 minutes one the Fedex guy had me sign.

My activation took 3 minutes. But my complete sync took 2 hours, because I had a lot of content to put back on it. Finally finished it all at 4:30 pm. Now that that 4 generation is in my possession, my 3GS looks huge. Wow, what a difference.
