WAITING for fedex

You generally don't get "In Transit" until it leaves the FedEx facility that picked it up. But relax, FedEx is the best for Overnight Delivery. 80% of FedEx packages travel by air as opposed to the UPS, where 80% travel by truck.
I ordered my phone on tuesday the 9th. Just this afternoon, I received the order acknowledgment from Apple. They are using FedEx overnight to get it to me tomorrow. Apple is probably spending a lot of money both keeping people from getting it early and honoring their "delivery by the 19th" commitment as best they can.

I definitely trust FedEx with my packages more than I do UPS. UPS always delivers to the wrong house when a package comes to me.
Judging by the structure of the Indianapolis hub, most are typically out after the flight connections between three and five am.
Most cargo flights take place at night to avoid the the heavy passenger traffic that can seriously delay shipments.
how did you find flights that late in the night? i'm only showing flights until about midnight on flighttracker.

still says i'll have it today. west columbia is less than 2 hours away, so i can believe it.. woot
lol never get the stupid e-mail from at&t. got the tracking number from the automated number. at&t order page doesn't show it either
they'll probably send an e-mail at 4:30 tonight (when fedex says it will be delivered by) and tell me to enjoy my new iphone and not forget to sign up for the data plan and give them more moneys

I called Fed Ex this morning because I had the same status. They informed me that my phone is being loaded onto the truck in NJ for delivery.
Five minutes later...the status was updated. I'm now working from home with my eye on the front door waiting for any shadowy figures holding packages.
yea they must of loaded a crap load of them onto a truck or something, then taken them to a different fedex location to sort them out
