WAITING for fedex

This is dumb. They wouldn't let me use my work shipping address...only my billing address. Since the iPhone is so expensive (Price+plan), surely the people ordering them have jobs. Why not let them ship it to work? They can't be expected to stay at home to wait for a delivery.
You should have a pre sign for this shipment link in the email you got when your order shipped. Just a matter of if you wanna chance doing that since they'll probably just leave it on your doorstep so theft may be an issue.

Yeah, it is a pain. I'm lucky enough to be home, but there is nobody in my house so I can't even take a shower for fear that I would miss the FedEx guy.
On the flip side though, I'd rather sign for my phone than have it sitting on my front porch for somebody to steal.
this is what I did, but I only have a 1/2 day of work today so I just wanted to make sure if they delivered it between 8am and 11:30am while I wasnt there they would leave it.... I'm not too worried about them leaving it at the front door of my apartment....
im in los angeles also. does your delivery date say 22nd. i really hope mines comes today. shippin info said its in hawthorne. but i got a feeling they wont come today

No mine says the 19th, i just checked again and it's on the truck for delivery. Fedex tends to deliver pretty early in my area so hopefully he'll be here soon.
Same here, says shipped with a link to fedex but nothing comes up but fedex front page. no tracking number. Wonder if it maybe didnt ship yesterday after all
People need to just chill. They will be running all around ALL DAY and probably past their regular hours to get the orders done.

Mine has been at the local FEDEX facility since 8AM this morning and still no ON TRUCK FOR DELIVERY notification. Site still promises delivery by 3PM, but I'm getting nervous!
