I'm going to sit out the iPhone 8/Edition and see what Apple has up their sleeve for a SE refresh. I'm thinking they will update sometime in March but I'm willing to wait until next fall. Would love to see a OLED version that is the approximate size of the SE but with a larger screen amd reduced bezels.

Seeing as the 1st gen SE came out in March 2016, we will probably see one in March of 2018 (at the earliest, if ever - it's still selling like hot cakes)

Part of me thinks the bezel-less design will be across all iPhones come Fall 2018, meaning the iPhone SE will be gone and simply become the new 4.7" iPhone. This is because without bezels, a 4.7" screen could easily fit into the SE form factor.

So we'd have 3 phones, all bezel-less, ranging in chassis size from the current SE to the 7 Plus, but all with the same chassis style.

Personally, I like the size of the plus iPhones now, but I do have a 5. I think the SE is a really nice iPhone and proof that Apple can make the camera flush with the casing if they want to.

May end up getting my son an SE as an upgrade later this year, assuming he wants one. He's using my wife's old 5 right now.

I believe we will see an iPhone SE refreshing in 2018. OLED Doesn't seem likely In the iPhone SE 2 due to yield rates and I think the main benefit of the SE is to keep the price point where it currently is. I do think we will see a redesign with the casing, upgraded display, Haptic home button and upgraded camera. What I would like to see is 3D Touch.

That's a good point about the price. I think the SE has two distinct buyers: people who just buy for the size and people who buy for the price. Curious to see which of those markets Apple goes after.
