If you look at the Retina MacBook's butterfly keyboard from the point of view of someone with limited motor skills, it should actually be superior to a traditional keyboard. The butterfly mechanism means it's easier to actuate the keys regardless of which part of its surface you're striking, the keys are large, and the short travel distance means it doesn't take as much pressure for clicks to register.We also care about people with limited motor skills, that's why we implemented an incredibly hard to type on keyboard.
