Well now, while the idea of the touch bar seems nice, and is growing on me, i have to say I am disappointed, no SD card, no magsafe, no tactile function keys (I have to look down to make sure I'm hitting he right f key) and they raised the price.

I guess that's one way to reverse the shrinking profits - raise the price.

I have to say, I'll be taking a pass on the MBP

It's definitely not rebranded 300. It's Polaris 14nm tech, most likely some form of downocked Polaris 11 (i.e. RX 460).
