At first I was going to say Macs and macOS are a footnote, but they're not even that anymore...
I know that's what's crazy, it's like a whole new whiz bang MacBook (maybe), but in a press release. It's like the Mac is just for the old guys, and they are going to cater to the iOS Kids of the future, their music, and whatever else. Hey you know what? I don't care, I had Steve for 10+ years of announcements! It was a great 10 years too...

Long live the Mac... (it's just a private project, for the diehards now) I mean at least they'll still release one every 3-4 years now, and the OS with limp along. I mean they haven't completely snuffed it out...

Well. I won't have a new MacBook Pro for the next .. 5+ years (hopefully). I'll have to stick to the maxed out 15" 2015. Good luck to all of you, Apple just butt****ed you guys in a quite awful way. Well and me too of course. This MacBook Pro will have to compensate for a lot more than 3000€.

I'm 21 and I have been patiently waiting for the new MacBook Pro. For god's sake, there are so many of us are waiting for the new MacBook. I think Tim just wants to ruin this company.

Sia is actually a pretty good singer and songwriter but have literally 0 interest in watching her perform especially at an Apple event lol. I like U2 and remember the thing from 2 years ago was pretty brutal too.

Well the processor on that iPhone is dope and I really hope I'm wrong about the headphones but I think it could require some corrective maneuvering by the company in a few months. I remember thinking certain feature of iPhones were going to be total busts and have been wrong so we'll see.

I think main issues for me are
1) No explanation as to how to charge AND listen to music
2) The removal of the headphone jack doesn't actually seem to make it waterproof - they didn't really DIVE into how resistant it was which makes me think its not great (unlike the new Apple Watch which looks waterproof as f***!)
3) Seems to be only a small improvement in battery life etc. I can accept the change from 3.5mm to Lightning but was there any major reason for it besides the waterproofing? They didn't talk about how the phone was that much thinner either (if they did I missed it - is Sia singing about it?)

We knew Macs weren't likely this time so I'm fine with that but am just trying to think about how any of these changes go with MacBooks, iMacs and MacPros. October could be a beautiful celebration - just wish they had mentioned it.

no, but i have lenses which makes a better bokeh then what the iphone would ever be able to.
When you use a DSLR it is not always about the size, rather about the options. i can do so much more than i will ever be able to with a iPhone.

exactly.. I'm in love with my D7200 oh and 10-24 Wide + 18-300 + 50mm1.4 ... who cares what is in that iphone7 thing
