I haven’t purchased AVP yet. Before I do, I think I will wait until Apple starts selling refurbished models and see how much of a discount is applied. Hopefully a significant amount.

By the look of things there will be loads of them.

I would have to agree that, probably more than any other product Apple has ever created.
Apple's VR Headset will be THE MOST RETURNED item ever.

And I'm not saying that in a negative way towards Apple.
I'm simply being logical here.

1: You offer a money back guarantee of what...... 2 weeks with the headset.
2: It's a totally next product that can only be judged by actually wearing and owning one for X amount of days.
3: It's VERY expensive for most people, so it has to justify itself a lot more than something costing a few hundred dollars.
4: Apple have themselves to blame also as they are advertising it as a every day consumer to wear during their normal day doing normal things, TODAY type of product, and not the early Mk1 development device we really know it is.

It makes logical sense accepting all of the above than more people will be tempted to try it, and see what all the fuss is about (again given apples strange marketing) and after experiencing it for a week or two and have gotten past the first few WOW Amazing days then realise that given the price they don't feel it's worth it for them right now.

Plus of course, I'd imagine thousands of people who honestly have no intention of wishing to pay this much for a high end VR Headset, but simply wish to see how good the screens and pass-thru can be for something at this price.
Just want to experience it, and then send it back until the next better model come along.
